OMG we're famous... only joking, but we were on Channel 4 News!
On the 15th of June, our first official day open after three months closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the lovely Channel 4 News team came in to interview Donna about re-opening in such an uncertain retail landscape. Of course she was an absolute natural in front of the camera, with no idea what she was being asked and zero time to prep! It was a great informative insight into the world of independent stores reopening vs big names such as Selfridges. Well, well, well... one month into re-opening and we are absolutely loving it, especially being able to see out beautiful customers face-to-face again. If there's one thing we missed the most over lockdown, it's definitely social interaction. Our 'Shopping by Appointment' service has been working great for both us and our customers. It's been a great way to interact, with personal styling and advice, but most importantly it's fun and lovely to have a chat! Ooh and even more exciting news... we were featured on a styling video by the one and only Mark Heyes! Not only is he our favourite TV fashion expert, but he's made a wonderful IGTV video with picks from his favourite independent boutiques featured on www.downyourhighstreet.co.uk and Chloe James Lifestyle is up first! Finally, I just wanted to mention our face masks. Since the announcement has been made that from the 24th wearing face masks will be required in shops, lots of our designs have completely sold out!
